ON Austrian Standards Institute is a non-profit organisation, it has several decades of experience in developing and operating both national and international standards in all works of life. As the lead secretariat for the development of the European standards applicable to diver training, ON is well established to lead the validation procedures for these standards.

ON is an acknowledged certification body and has been active in the field of certification for several decades so developing appropriate experience and competence. ON is accredited by the Austrian Ministry for Economy and Labour and the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) as product certification body according to the European Standard EN 45011 "General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems".

EUF European Underwater Federation was first formed in 1989 by a number of non profit distributing European diver federations and subsequently expanded to include the major profit distributing training agencies. It thus acts as a platform to represent and protect the interests of European recreational diver at the EU level. EUF has supported the development of such standards by the CEN working group.

EUF is the European platform for the recreational diving community. EUF is a non-profit company limited by guarantee and registered in the UK. EUF acts as a platform for the European recreational diving community and represents both the profit distributing and non profit distributing sectors.
