Why certification?
• How can the training organisation prove credibly that their training meets all requirements of the
European/International Standard?
• How can the consumer or an authority be sure that the requirements of the relevant standard
are really fulfilled by a training organisation?
The European / International Standards define the state of the art for safety and quality of scuba diver and scuba instructors training services.
Certification means that an independent body confirms that a service has been tested and that its quality is subject to proper control mechanisms.
Training organisations or dive centres that successfully pass the procedures are awarded a certificate and will be entitled to use the EUF Conformity Mark.
